 Legacy Female

Gracie is a retired female who remains an important part of Atelier Boxers as a legacy dog, represented in the program through her offspring. While she is no longer part of active breeding plans, her influence—both genetically and temperamentally—continues forward through Bowie and Maggie.

Gracie is an intensely driven, high-energy dog with exceptional enthusiasm for engagement and work. Often described as having the heart of a working Malinois in a Boxer’s body, she brings speed, determination, and a near-constant readiness to participate in whatever is happening next. While this level of drive is not suited to every environment, it is precisely what made her such a strong fit within this program.

Despite her intensity, Gracie is deeply affectionate and people-oriented, with a confident, expressive personality that balances sweetness with a sharp sense of humor. She is socially bold, environmentally curious, and thrives on interaction—qualities that made her an outstanding adventure companion and a dog who approached new situations with enthusiasm rather than hesitation.

Structurally, Gracie exemplifies the quality of her pedigree. She is a beautifully built female with strong breed type, clean lines, and an athletic outline that reflects both function and form. Her conformation, paired with her drive, is a significant part of what she has passed on to the next generation.

Gracie’s breeding journey was approached carefully and deliberately. Following a failed breeding in 2023 and the loss of a singleton in early 2025, she was successfully bred in August 2025, producing two puppies—Bowie and Maggie—who remain in the program today. After completing that litter, Gracie was spayed in December 2025 and formally retired from breeding.

Retirement for Gracie is not an absence, but a shift in role. She now enjoys life as a full-time companion, where her energy, intelligence, and personality remain central to the household. Her legacy is carried forward not only through her offspring, but through the standard she set for drive, structure, and presence—one that continues to shape the direction of Atelier Boxers.

Kyneska joins the program from Boxers of Mercy von Devana, a kennel known for prioritizing health testing, sound structure, and true-to-standard Boxer temperament. She represents a deliberate addition, chosen for both what she is now and what she has the potential to contribute moving forward.

Structurally, Kyneska is a strong, correct female with balance, presence, and an outline that reflects her pedigree. She is currently maturing into herself, with plans to enter the conformation ring as part of her evaluation and development. Her build supports athleticism and durability, and she carries herself with confidence and intent.

Temperamentally, Kyneska leans distinctly “old school.” She is deeply loyal and affectionate with her people, while maintaining a clear sense of discernment around strangers. She is socially aware, alert, and unapologetically opinionated—traits that, when properly managed, contribute to clarity rather than instability. This is not a generalized, indiscriminate dog; she thinks, assesses, and responds accordingly.

Kyneska is highly intelligent, expressive, and quick to learn, with a sharp sense of humor and absolutely no poker face. She can be challenging in the way that capable dogs often are—requiring engagement, structure, and intention—but she is equally rewarding. Her personality is bold, lively, and unmistakable, bringing both energy and presence to the household.

As she continues to mature, Kyneska’s role in the program will be determined by what she proves over time. She is a dog with strong opinions, real substance, and the kind of character that demands thoughtful handling—qualities that, when paired with responsibility, can shape something exceptional.

"Henna"

  • DOB: November 26, 2023

  • ARVC 2: Clear (n/n)
  • Remaining health testing pending (age)

Henna comes to us from Arktis Boxers. She is a personable, people-oriented female with a steady, uncomplicated temperament.

Henna is sweet, social, and easy to live with. She enjoys being involved in daily routines, seeks out human companionship, and approaches new situations with a relaxed, adaptable attitude.

While she is not a dog that operates with constant or generalized intensity, she is capable of real drive when the context suits her—engaging fully on her own terms and in situations that matter to her.

She has earned her CGC, VHMA, and VHMP titles, reflecting reliable temperament, trainability, and comfort in structured environments. These qualities align well with her ability to focus and engage when asked, without requiring pressure or escalation.

Henna’s future within the program remains pending completion of full health testing. Her role will be determined thoughtfully, with an emphasis on what best serves both her and the program as a whole.

Henna contributes balance to the group. She is defined by consistency, friendliness, and emotional steadiness, with a situational drive that complements the more overtly intense dogs in the kennel.

Maggie is a young female bred from Blue × Gracie and represents the next generation of Atelier Boxers. She is co-owned with Boxers of Mercy von Devana, reflecting a shared commitment to developing dogs thoughtfully and evaluating them over time rather than rushing outcomes.

Maggie is still very much in development, but she is already showing a compelling blend of her parents’ qualities. She carries herself with confidence and curiosity, approaching the world with enthusiasm and a willingness to engage. Her temperament balances brightness and self-assurance with an emerging ability to settle, suggesting a dog who can mature into both an active partner and a stable adult.

Physically, Maggie is growing evenly and athletically, with proportions and movement that will continue to clarify as she matures. At this stage, the focus remains on allowing her body and mind to develop naturally, without premature expectations placed on either.

Temperamentally, Maggie is bold, expressive, and socially comfortable. She enjoys interaction, thinks through new situations quickly, and brings a spark of intensity that is tempered by responsiveness and humor. Like many young dogs with real potential, she is observant and opinionated in small ways, qualities that will be shaped through continued exposure, training, and time.

Maggie’s future within the program will be determined by what she proves to be—structurally, temperamentally, and in health—once she reaches maturity. For now, she represents promise: a continuation of careful breeding decisions and a dog whose story is still being written.
